Magdaléna Wavle

Magdaléna Wavle is one of the prominent figures in the Czech HR landscape and has long been dedicated to strategic human resources management, the development of corporate culture, and organizational transformation. She currently serves as People & Culture Tribe Lead at Česká spořitelna, where she focuses on people development, leadership support, and building a modern employee experience within a large financial institution.
She spent a significant part of her career at Vodafone Czech Republic, where she gradually worked her way up to the company’s senior leadership. She was responsible for the full HR agenda, including well-being, occupational health and safety, and the workplace environment. She led a team of around 60 people and contributed to the development and support of several thousand employees and external collaborators. She was actively involved in integrations, corporate culture transformation, strengthening employee engagement, and building the employer brand.
In her work, she has long promoted the idea that the key to an organization’s success is getting the right people into the right roles and enabling them to grow professionally. She focuses on leveraging internal talent, developing new skills across roles, and supporting flexible forms of work. Diversity and creating an environment where people can succeed regardless of differences are also important topics for her.
Before joining Vodafone, she held managerial roles at Microsoft and GE Money Bank. She gained professional experience not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad, particularly in the United States and Germany.
She graduated in Social and Regional Policy from the Prague University of Economics and Business. In her professional practice, she connects business goals with people development and has long supported an environment based on trust, cooperation, and open communication.
